Vermont Child Health Improvement Program (VCHIP)
Vermont Child Health Improvement Program (VCHIP) is a population-based child health services research and quality improvement program of the University of Vermont. VCHIP's mission is to optimize the health of Vermont's children by initiating and supporting measurement-based efforts to enhance private and public child health practice. VCHIP provides an established mechanism for Vermont's clinicians to continually improve the care they offer children and families throughout Vermont and supports clinicians in their efforts by providing the tested tools and techniques to improve care for specific populations.

Center for Health Care Quality
The Center for Health Care Quality, a new center for quality improvement in health care established at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, will be a resource for health care providers throughout the world to make the highest-quality care a reality for children and their families. The Center for Health Care Quality is the result of a merger of the Center for Children's Healthcare Improvement, formerly based at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the Center for Health Policy and Clinical Effectiveness at Cincinnati Children's, which not only does improvement work but also conducts research into interventions that improve health outcomes in the community and the home.

The Center for Children's Healthcare Improvement (CCHI) is a North Carolina statewide program to improve healthcare for children. The mission of the Center is to eliminate the gap between what is and what could be in healthcare for children and adolescents in North Carolina.

Activities of the Center include: communication, advocacy and partnership development; improving clinical care for children; gathering and distributing information for improvement; training current and future clinicians, and research.

The North Carolina Division of Medical Assistance (NC DMA)
The Division of Medical Assistance manages Medicaid and NC Health Choice for Children for the state of North Carolina. The mission of the DMA is to manage the Medicaid program efficiently so that cost effective health care services are available through enrolled providers to all eligible persons across the state of North Carolina. Medicaid is a health insurance program for certain low-income and needy people paid with federal, state, and county dollars. It covers more than 1 million people in North Carolina, including children, the aged, blind, and/or disabled, and people who are eligible to receive federally assisted income maintenance payments.
