Phase One of this project initiated development of a unique health plan report card that will provide information on the quality of services provided to minority patients enrolled in managed care. In the next phase, project staff will recruit six plans with large minority enrollments to collect and report data on a core set of health care quality measures related to preventive care, culturally appropriate care, and patient satisfaction. Information collected by health plans will help them target areas for improvement.
