Grants & Programs

The Fund supports independent research on health and social issues and makes grants to improve health care practice and policy. We are dedicated to helping people become more informed about their health care and improving care for vulnerable populations such as children, the elderly, low-income families, minorities, and the uninsured.

Reporting Guidelines, Author Guidelines, and Financial Reporting

Specific reporting requirements for Fund grants and contracts are explained in the Payment and Reporting Schedule (P & R), which is a part of each grant agreement; it appears as Attachment 2 for Board-level grants and in a table on page 3 of small grant agreements. The P & R may require the submission of interim or final project reports. Guidelines for these types of reports are attached at right as resources.

Financial reports are required for all Fund-supported projects. An Excel template for interim and final financial reports is provided as a resource at right. Financial reports should show actual expenditures in a line-item format, similar to the Fund-approved budget for the project.

Author guidelines are provided here as a resource for grantees who are preparing manuscripts for Fund publication.
